Refund Policy

1.The short version

14 days, no questions asked. If you buy the Cleanup Pass or Lifetime access and change your mind within 14 days of purchase, email us and we'll refund it — no explanation required.

2.Your EU consumer right to withdraw

If you're a consumer in the EU, you have a legal right to withdraw from an online purchase within 14 days of the transaction, without giving any reason, under the EU Consumer Rights Directive. Our 14-day policy above meets and matches that right — we don't ask you to justify a refund request, whether or not EU consumer law applies to your purchase.

Note: because Inbox Census is a digital service you can start using immediately after purchase, by completing checkout you acknowledge that use of the app during the 14-day window doesn't forfeit your refund right — we honor the full 14 days regardless of how much you've used the app.

3.How refunds are handled

Paddle, our merchant of record, processes all payments and refunds. When you request a refund, we approve it and Paddle issues the money back to your original payment method — we never hold your payment details ourselves. Refund timing back to your card or account depends on your bank/payment provider, typically a few business days after Paddle processes it.

4.How to request a refund

1. Email hello@inboxcensus.com with the subject "Refund request."
2. Include your Paddle receipt (sent to your email at the time of purchase) or the email address you purchased with.
3. We'll confirm and Paddle will process the refund. No form to fill in beyond that, and no reason required.

5.What happens to your license after a refund

Once a refund is processed, your license key is deactivated and paid features return to the free tier limits. Nothing about your Gmail data changes — we never held any of it in the first place, so a refund has no bearing on your inbox itself.
