1.What Inbox Census is
Inbox Census is a browser-based tool that reads your Gmail inbox's metadata and lets you review and bulk-archive or bulk-trash mail from senders you choose. It is a client-side application: it runs in your browser and has no backend server that handles your mail data. By using the app at app.inboxcensus.com, you agree to these terms.
2.Who can use it
You need a Google account with Gmail, and you must be old enough in your jurisdiction to enter into this kind of agreement on your own behalf. You're responsible for keeping your own Google account secure.
3.License — personal use
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Inbox Census for your own inbox. You may not resell access, use the app to process mailboxes you don't own or aren't authorized to manage, or attempt to circumvent the free-tier limits other than by paying for the app in the normal way.
4.What the app does when you act on a sender
When you archive or trash a sender's mail, the app acts only on the exact messages shown to you in your census at the time you reviewed it — never a fresh search re-run at the moment you click. Trash actions use Gmail's own Trash (30-day recovery in Gmail); Inbox Census never performs a permanent, unrecoverable delete. You are responsible for reviewing what you select before confirming — the app does not undo an action once it's sent to Gmail, though Gmail's own Trash recovery remains available to you for 30 days.
5.No warranty
Inbox Census is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that its sender classifications will always be perfectly accurate — the app is built to be conservative and to show its evidence, but you are the one confirming any action before it runs. Use your own judgment when reviewing the census before you evict anything.
6.Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent the law allows, Inbox Census and its operator aren't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app — including mail archived or trashed as a result of actions you confirmed. Our total liability for any claim related to the app is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, if any.
7.Payments — Paddle is the merchant of record
Purchases (the Cleanup Pass and Lifetime SKUs) are processed by Paddle.com, our merchant of record. Paddle handles billing, VAT/tax, invoicing, and payment security — we never receive or store your card details. Your purchase is subject to Paddle's buyer terms in addition to these terms. 8.Changes to the service or these terms
We may update the app or these terms over time. If we make a material change to the terms, we'll update the "last updated" date above. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
9.Termination
You can stop using the app any time — revoke access from your Google Account (Security → Third-party access) and wipe local data from the app itself. We may suspend or terminate access for use that violates these terms, such as abuse of the Gmail API or attempts to process mailboxes you're not authorized to access.
10.Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Romania, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. The service is operated by LMR Digital Productions SRL (CUI 44795685), Bucharest, Romania.
